GRACE JOHNSON On January 16, 2003, Grace Johnson was called home to be with Jesus. Grace was born to parents, John and Mary Hawking in Ninga, MB. She was the sixth child in the family of seven and the last to pass away. In 1927 Grace married Harold John Johnson in Ninga. The couple lived in Winnipeg. Harold died in 1969. In 1999 Grace moved to the Renoir in Calgary where she could be close to her daughter. In 2003 she moved to the Salvation Armys Agape Hospice for her final days. Grace and Harold had two children, Neil and Yvonne. She leaves Neil Johnson and his sons, Donald, Curtis and Sean, plus grandsons Brady, Mitchell and Gregory. She also leaves Yvonne Snowdy, her husband Bill and their sons, Quinton and Darcy. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Winnipeg at Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor. The family requests that memorial tributes be made to the Westworth United Church or charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 204-949-4860.
