Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA MAY HUNT (nee MANSFIELD) Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Friday, January 17, 2003 with her family at her side. Eva was born in Winnipeg, grew up in St. Vital and settled in St. Vital with her husband Sydney to raise their family. After their retirement Eva, along with her husband, ran Sugar Bay Camp and Marina in Clearwater Bay, ON during the spring, summer and early fall months and wintered in Harlingen, TX in the cold winter months. Eva was predeceased by her husband Sydney in 1992 and by one brother Tom. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Susan and her husband Garnet and their children, Charlene (Manuel) and Raymond; a son Barry and his wife Susan and their children, Sherri, Sterling, Krystle and Myles; and great-grandchildren, Steven, Nickolas, Bryce, Taylor and Alex. She also leaves a sister Lily, special niece Barbara and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Raymond Ward, Sterling Hunt and Myles Hunt and family friends, Denis Thompson, John Bain and John Foerster. Honorary pallbearers are John Reimer and John McIntyre. Special thanks to the staff on 6E at St. Boniface Hospital, especially Irene Roch, for the care and compassion shown towards Eva and the family throughout this difficult time. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21 at 3:30 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Hwy No.1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. A separate memorial service will be held for family and friends in South Texas. Flowers gratefully declined.
