Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALGY (ALLAN) SKALETAR February 17, 1910 - December 28, 2002 Peacefully on December 28, 2002, at Riverview Hospital. Predeceased by beloved wife Gladys on December 1, 1990. Survived by nephews, Marvin Goody of Toronto and Allan Leveton of San Francisco. Friends, Cecil and Gladys Kerr and family will also sadly miss him. Allan served in the Canadian Infantry Core, 1942 to 1946. He was employed as a manufacturing agent until his retirement. Allan was an avid tennis player, a longtime member of the Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club, winning many tournaments - among them, Al and Glad won the mixed doubles in 1967. Allan won the 65 age category in 1977 in the Canadian Nationals. He also served on the National Seniors Advisory Committee from 1992 to 1997. He and Gladys both played in Winnipeg and spent many happy winters in Acapulco, Hawaii and Palm Springs, enjoying holidays and playing in various tournaments. Allan will always be remembered by his sense of humour and that mischievous twinkle in his eye. "We will miss you" Thank you to the compassionate staff at Riverview West 3. No formal service.
