WILLIAM JOHN WINDATT William John (Bill), born in Winnipeg, on February 19, 1926, passed away quietly in his sleep at the Inglewood Care Centre in West Vancouver, B.C. on January 13, 2003. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Duste, in July, 2002, and his parents Arthur and Dorothy Windatt. He is survived by his four children, Jan (Ron) Burns, Bob, Brian (Christina), and Jill Beaudry. His eight grandchildren, Shannon and Courtney Burns, Brooke and Spencer Windatt, Karlie Windatt, Camilla and Nikaia Chevillot and Melissa Beaudry will miss Grandpa. Survived by His sister Ann Turnbull, Oakville, ON. Special thanks to Drs. Wayne Smith and Jock Murray, as well as the incredible staff at the lodge of the Inglewood Care Centre. Cremation has taken place and interment will be held in Winnipeg at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinsons Society of Manitoba.
