JESSIE MAE BEVAN (nee MILLIGAN) On Friday, January 24, 2003 Jessie passed away surrounded by her family at Concordia Place Personal Care Home. Jessie will be remembered, with love, by her brother Jim, her children, Carol and Murray Thorpe (Crossfield, AB), Joan Barker (Vernon, BC), Bill and Chris, Jack and Ida (Lethbridge, AB), Janice Swedik, David and Heather; son-in-law Don Price, Lynn and Brian Ramsay, 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and brother-in-law John Brown (Calgary). Sadly missed by "her" special dog, Sam, and many relatives and friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband Bill, daughter Laurie and baby grandson Tyler Price, sister Ivy, brother George and son-in-law Bob Swedik. Jessie was born in Winnipeg July 30, 1919. She raised her family in Morse Place and worked many years at Eatons where she thoroughly enjoyed her job until retirement. Thanks to the Staff at Concordia Hospital and extra special thanks to the entire staff at Concordia Place for their kindness and caring they gave to our Mom. We love you and we will miss you. Now you can rest your beautiful blue eyes peacefully. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or a charity of ones choice. Cremation has taken place. Private family service to be held later. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
