DOROTHY LOUISE GALE Peacefully on January 18, 2003, at Grace Hospital, our dearly loved mother and grandmother, Dorothy Louise at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband David 1971, her mother and father, brother Jack 1944, brother George, her grandson Tim 1987. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dan (Carol) McCarron, BC, Nancy (Herman) Anderson, Bob (Janet), Doreen (George) de Denus, Jim (Linda), Debbie (Buddy) Muise; also brother Bill; sisters, Kit and Em; 16 grandchildren, Shawn, Heather, Brenda, Cindy, Kevin, Kathy, Shelly, David, Jason, Jeffrey, Christine, Richard, Kelly, Bradley, Shera, and Brent; 20 great-grandchildren, Krista, Ryan, Steven, Michael, Trevor, Katelyn, Matthew, Tyler, Leighton, Wesley, Tyler, Michael, Emily, Nicole, Eden, Jessica, Jeremy, Gage, Jennifer, and Jeanine. Mom loved to crochet, knit and do crafts, and passed on her many talents to her children and grandchildren. She was a very brave person, fought very hard to the end and tried to keep the pain of suffering from all her family. The family wish to say a special thank you to all the staff on the fourth floor for all their kindness and compassion for our mother. Donations to be made to the Palliative Care on the fourth floor at the Grace Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24 at 12:30 p.m., at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Mom will always be remembered for her heart of gold and understanding for all of us.
