MELINA FRANCES LABELLE It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Melina Labelle on Friday, January 17, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 33 years Leon; her son Andre (Jean), and daughter Pauline LaBelle; grandchildren, Taylor and Casey; three brothers, Jim (Betty) Forster, John (Betty) Forster both of Carmen, MB, George Forster and his wife Angele of Belmont, MB. Melina was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Marie Forster; as well as her sister Claudia Lanouette. Melina was the past president of the St. Vital Y.M/Y.W.C.A. She was a school teacher, a career she enjoyed immensely for many years of service at Frontenac School in Windsor Park. From 1975, she worked as a secretary for her husband Leon at Labelle Masonry Contractors Ltd. A reception celebrating Melinas life will be held on Monday, January 20, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Chapel, located at 680 Archibald St. Flowers are most gratefully declined.
