MARY LUCIER Tuovi Maria Elisabeth (Mary) Lucier passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2003, after a lengthy illness. Mary was born June 17, 1917 in New Finland, SK the eldest daughter of John and Ida Knuuttila. She is survived by Bill, her husband of 54 years and one son Grant Lucier (Audrey) of Winnipeg. Also surviving are grandchildren, Nicole Squires (Perry) of St. Johns, NF, Trish Goncalves (Rui), Shaylene Lucier, Ginette Lucier (Marvin Lockhart), and Cody Lucier, all of Winnipeg and seven great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by one sister Sylvia McDougall of Moosomin, SK. She was predeceased by two brothers, Arne and Art and two sisters, Kay and Martha. In accordance with Marys wishes, no formal funeral service will be held at this time. We wish to thank the staff on the second floor (Lloyd Locke Ward) of the Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home (Deaf Center Manitoba) for their dedication and support these last three years.
