Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA DYCK (nee WRUCK) Peacefully, on December 18, 2002, at River East Personal Care Home, Olga Dyck passed away at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband David on September 20, 2001, after 64 years of marriage; and by three brothers, Rudolf, Reinhold, and Fred. Olga was born in Kharkov, Ukraine, Russia on June 27, 1916, and came to Canada at an early age. She leaves to mourn her passing her two sons, Harvey (Dawn) of Winnipeg and Loren (Joanne Sinkarsin) of Cleveland, OH; her two grand-children, David (Sharon) Dyck of Winnipeg, and Denise (Tony) Naim of Winnipeg; her great-granddaughter Piper Anne Naim; and many relatives and friends. Olga was a loving and supportive person who will be missed by all who experienced her caring ways. Olga was an avid bowler and won many trophies including the National Classified Bowling Championship on May 21, 1980 in Newfoundland. She enjoyed camping with the family on summertime trips to local lakes and beyond, and was very interested in collecting coins from all over the world. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at River West Personal Care Home for all the consideration and care given to Olga. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Flowers are gratefully declined.
