NETTIE (NEL) MEGRATH (nee GENIK) Peacefully on January 18, 2003, Nettie passed away at Beacon Hill Personal Care Home with her sister by her side. Nettie was predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Genik; her sister Pearle (Forrest) and her brothers, Stafford and Stanley. Nettie will be remembered by her daughter Rose-Anne Johnson (Wayne), brother Harold and sister Rosella. She also leaves behind grand-children, Lynne (Chris) and Paul (Corinna) as well as her nephew Greg Genik (Grace) and their three children, Keith, Jonah and Lance. The family wishes to thank the staff of Beacon Hill Lodge, 4th floor, for the kind and compassionate care given to Nettie and her family. If friends so desire, donations in Netties memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, Unit 10, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. Funeral service will be held at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Wednesday, January 22, at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service.
