MARIE (MHAIRI) HUTCHISON On Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at the age of 67 years, Marie Hutchison passed into the arms of God with faith, dignity and peace. Marie was predeceased by her husband George in 1996. She leaves to mourn her passing, her sons, George (Alaina) and Allan (Dawn) and her daughter Heather (Joe). She also leaves her grandchildren, Bruce, Cameron, Scott, Heather, Mhairi, Ronnie, Matthew and Shawn; her sister Kitty and her brother Billy. Marie was born in Dumbarton, Scotland where she met and married the love of her life George. They immigrated to Winnipeg in 1957. Marie was an active member of the Mary Mother of the Church Parish. The family extends their sincere thanks to the many friends and relatives for their prayers and support. Thanks also to the nursing staff of the Fourth Floor of the Victoria Hospital for their care. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Carl Tarnapolski at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr. in Fort Garry on Thursday, January 23 at 11:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. Private interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery the following day. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maries memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg R3G 9Z9 or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Manitoba Branch), 200-55 Donald St., Winnipeg R3C 1L8.
