JEAN MABB (nee DOTCHISON) With great sadness the family announces the passing of their beloved mother and grandmother Jean Mabb on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at the age of 72 years at the Riverview Health Centre with family by her side. Her earthly presence will be sadly missed and her memory will be cherished by her sons, Don and Cece, Randy and Helen; and granddaughters, Merissa and Tricia whom she adored. Jean is also survived by her sister Helen Dotchison and brother Peter Dotchison. Jean was predeceased by her husband Walter; brothers, Nick and Mike; sister Mary Rybchuk; and her parents, John and Anna. Jean was born and educated in Stead, MB. She moved to Winnipeg and attended business college and was employed as a secretary with the Federal Government for many years. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and family gatherings. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the home care workers, nurses and doctors from Concordia, St. Boniface and Riverview hospitals. Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 26, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27, at 11:00 a.m. also at the chapel with Rev. David Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
