Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA JESUINA MARTINS BERNARDES Peacefully, on Saturday, January 25, 2003, Maria Bernardes, aged 75 years, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. She leaves to mourn her husband Manuel, her son Carlos, grandson Dillon, three sisters and two brothers in Portugal and their families; four sisters-in-law and their families. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care for all their care and support. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros officiating. Interment will be held in Portugal. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Marias memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
