HAROLD W. RIDDOLLS After a brief illness, on January 22, 2003 at Concordia Hospital, Harold Riddolls, beloved husband of Muriel, passed away at the age of 76 years. Harold will be lovingly remembered by his wife Muriel of 51 years; sons, Robin (Linda) and Ray (Alison) daughter Maureen (Dan) Fann; grandchildren, Amber, Jennifer, Wesley, Drew, Brooke, Quinn, Denise, Laura and Carly; and two great-grandchildren, Evan and Hannah. He is also survived by one sister Laureen of Winnipeg and one brother Stan (Liz) of Kelowna, BC, brother-in-law George (Pat) Mills, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Harold was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Harold spent his career in the telephone industry, retiring from MTS in 1990. He was a 50 year member of the Dormer Lodge and a member of the Shriners Oriental Band. He also enjoyed his volunteer work with the Telephone Pioneers. During his retirement years, Harold enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Grand Marais, and spent many hours working on his model trains. Ultimately, his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grand-children. He was their greatest fan at every sporting event. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the ICU of Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion. Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crohns & Colitis Foundation of Canada, 306-2265 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 5J3.
