HEATHER KATHLEEN ATKINSON (nee MUIR) Heather Kathleen Atkinson (nee Muir), born January 3, 1955, passed away on January 18, 2003, at the age of 48, after a long battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband Rick; daughters, Maggie-Jean (husband Dave) and Kate (husband Tom) grandson Simon; her three siblings, Thora, Sandra and David; and her mother Kay. Heathers wish was to have no ceremony, no funeral, no grief, and that after a suitable period of mourning, a party be held in celebration of her life. No flowers are requested, but donations can be made to Riverview Health Centre (Palliative Care wing), 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 9Z9 or the Oncology Department at the Victoria General Hospital, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg MB R3T 9Z9.
