Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRIMMON ALEXANDER " MAC" McDONALD Grimmon Alexander "Mac" McDonald, 97, passed away in the home of his oldest son on Sunday, December 29, 2002. He was born January 1, 1905 in Lethbridge, AB to Clinton and Margaret McDonald. Grimmon spent nearly 50 years in Winnipeg. He entered the printing field at 14 years of age and was a master printer at several of Winnipegs largest print shops. In 1953 he followed his trade to the Los Angeles Times and later, with his wife Betty, as the proprietor of El Camino Printers in San Clemente, CA. He didnt retire until he was well into his 80th decade. Grimmon was very active with gymnastics at the YMCA for all the years he lived in Winnipeg. Grimmon was predeceased by his wife Betty (nee McKee) and is survived by four sons, Buddy of Las Vegas, Jerry of San Clemente, CA, Harry of Hilo, Hawaii and Greg of Maui, Hawaii; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 3:00 p.m. in Saint Clements-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 201 Aragon, San Clemente, CA. As per Grims wishes his ashes will join those of his beloved wife Betty, at sea off the coast of San Clemente. His spirit remained always young! Goodbye Uncle Grim!
