LORNE OSTAFF After a courageous battle with cancer on January 25, 2003, at Riverview Health Centre, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother Lorne passed away at the age of 71 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Edith; daughters, Gwen (Roger) and Koren; grandchildren, Kailey, Katelin, Jake and Emily; sisters, Elsie (Bill), Marge (Orest), Mary (Richard) brothers, George, Johnny (Jean) aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends. Lorne was predeceased by his son Gary; grandson Brandon; parents, Ted and Lena. Lorne was born in 1931 in Russell, MB. He moved to Winnipeg and worked for Eatons for 25 years after which he was employed with Canada Post for 15 years. In 1958 he met his beautiful bride Edith. They wed in 1960. Shortly after they had their family of three children. Lorne and Edith purchased a hobby farm in Teulon, MB which continues on in the family to this day. Dad was an avid golfer and bowler who also loved to travel especially by car. His family was very important to Dad especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Pastor Bill Tuninga officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. M.
