EVA LOUISE HINDS (Dupas) Peacefully, at the Foyer Valade Personal Care Home, Eva Louise Hinds passed away on January 27, 2003 at the age of 82. Eva was predeceased by her husband Mel in 1969; her beloved sisters, Alice, Antoinette, Therese, Amanda, Blanche, Rose, Agnes; and also her infant grandson Thomas Jordan Hinds. She is survived by her loving children, Tom, Sue, Linda (Josef), Mel (Sheila) and Bob (Barb) and her grandchildren, Lisa, Rochelle, Shannon, Angel, Peter, David, Ryan, Stephen, Ashley, and Matthew. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Evas greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and she was affectionately known as "Granny" by them all. She was a feisty and independent lady and while she was able she loved to knit, read, garden and travel. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Fr. Patrick Morand for his pastoral care and also all the staff at Foyer Valade for their exceptional care and in particular, Carmelle, Donna, Helen and Jean. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 29 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Fr. Patrick Morand officiating. Interment will follow at Garry Memorial Park at 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Reception will follow. Pallbearers will be Peter Charbonneau, David Peck, Stephen Hinds, Rochelle Harder, Jayson Jarigen and Barry McKinnon. Honorary pallbearer will be Ryan Peck. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evas memory may be made to the Salvation Army and would be greatly appreciated by the family. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
