ARTHUR VERNON NEIL Passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2003 at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, at the age of 88. Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Cecilia Helen Neil (nee Brown). Vernon, born January 18, 1915 in Fort William, ON, grew up in Winnipeg, MB where his father John William Neil worked at the Winnipeg Free Press. Vernon graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1936 and in 1941 became a chartered accountant. In 1948 he moved to Ottawa to work in the Department of National Revenue where he served for many years until joining the firm of Richard De Boo Limited as a writer and editor of income tax publications. In 1965 he moved to Mississauga, ON to work in the Toronto office of De Boo Publishers. Also survived by his four children, Ralph (Bonnie), Barbara (Timothy) McCabe, Jennifer (Rudi) Sagl and Deborah (Marc) Saulnier; five grandchildren, Stephen and Kate Neil, Nicholas, Matthew and Max McCabe and seven great-grandchildren. His brothers, Lawrence and Keith, both of Winnipeg also survive him. A Funeral Service will be held at the NEWEDUK FUNERAL HOME - "MISSISSAUGA CHAPEL," 1981 Dundas St. W.
