OLIVE DODDS (nee ZECH) Olive Dodds passed away peacefully at the Trinity Care Centre on January 27, 2003 at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Charles Dodds, in 1990. Olive is survived by one daughter Jackie (Nelson) Sherbino of Penticton, BC; two sons, Gordon (Marie) Dodds of Smoky Lake, AB, Laurie (Judy) Dodds of Black Diamond AB; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; and one niece and one nephew. Olive moved from Winnipeg to Penticton in 1991 to Figueiras Park then to Trinity Care Centre in April 2002 where she fully enjoyed her family and new-found friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Highway 1 East at Green Acres Lane, with Pastor Ted Hall from Grant Memorial Baptist Church officiating. Viewing will be held at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In memory of Olive, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 2469 S.
