ROBERT JAMES WOLFE, JR. "BOB" April 14, 1918 - January 28, 2003 Peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2003, Bob Wolfe passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 84. Bob will be lovingly remembered by sons, Terry and Pat; and daughter Debbie Wolfe Caille (Denis). He will also be remembered by his sister, Verna; brother Tom Wolfe; sisters-in-law Joan Wolfe and Jean Hay; grandchildren, Tracy (Darren), Jaime, Shawna, Dustin, Danielle, (Baby) great-grandchildren, Brayden and Sara; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob was predeceased by his wife Sarah, son Dennis, brother Herbert (Herb) and sister Josephine (Jo). Bob grew up in St. Boniface where he met his wife and started a family. He spent 45 years with Burns Ltd., where he retired as a cattle buyer. He was a longtime member of the Norwood St. Boniface Legion and the Norwood Masonic Lodge No. 119. He also enjoyed camping and mopeding with "Hells Grandpas". Bob wanted to be remembered in happiness not in sorrow. The family extends special thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and to Marie from home care for taking good care of our Dad. A memorial service celebrating Roberts life will be held on Saturday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobs memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
