THOMSON On January 29, 2003 at Deer Lodge Centre, Evelyn, beloved wife of Wilson Thomson, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her husband Wilson (Willie) daughter Judith (David) Saxerud, St. Paul, MN; grand-children, Lance and Lauren Saxerud; sister Gladys Taylor, Rochester, NY; brother F. Claude McPherson, Surrey, BC; sisters-in-laws, Joyce McPherson and Naomi McPherson; and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Williamina McPherson; and brothers, William M. and Douglas H. McPherson. Evelyn was born March 11, 1916 in The Pas, MB, and moved to Winnipeg at an early age where she lived all of her life. Willie and Evelyn were long-time residents of Westwood House. Evelyn worked as a Legal Secretary at Eatons, at the Rh Lab, in the Womens Pavilion, General Hospital and at the business office of the Grace Hospital until her retirement. Special thanks to Debbie Benger and the staff of Lodge 7, Deer Lodge Centre. Flowers are gratefully declined, however, donations may be made in Evelyns memory to Deer Lodge Foundation for Geriatrics, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2J 0L3 or the charity of your choice.
