EDWARD ZYLEMA It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, on Thursday, January 30, 2003, at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 69. He leaves to mourn his son Carl (Susan) and daughters, Arlene Buchanan (Jim) and Janice Joseph (Dwayne) and also leaves seven grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Kyle, Breanne, Dustin, Cara and Tanner. He also leaves behind his sisters, Lil Gobert (George), Violet Pelletier (Euclid) and his friend Anna Boel. He was predeceased by his wife Molly of 44 years on April 12, 2000. Dad was born June 23, 1933, to Tiddo and Violet Zylema. He spent his entire life on the family farm, raising cattle, grain and establishing "Zylemas Pick Your Own Vegetable Farm." Dad was a people person, leaving behind many, many friends and memories. The family would like to thank Drs. Saleam, Harris, Johnson and Daeninck and all the staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit and Health Sciences D2. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3 at The Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodiere Blvd., with a reception to follow.
