WALTRAUD (TRUDY) PAULA SCHROEDER (nee ENGELS) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Waltraud Schroeder on January 29, 2003 at the age of 73. She is survived by her husband Tony of 55 years; sons, Hans (Jo-Ann) of Winnipeg, Tony (Alexis) of Okotoks, AB; daughter Rosemary (Rick) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Ehren and Graham of Okotoks, Lukas of Winnipeg, Jennifer, Brian and Rick Jr. of Winnipeg. She had been a member of the German Society of Winnipeg and Kolping Society of Winnipeg for many years. She also loved to travel, be with family and friends and had a passion for crossword puzzles. Special thanks to Linda (homecare), Dr. Tsang, the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital and staff at St. Boniface Hospital. Prayers will be held on Sunday, February 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Fr. Diosdado Parrenas officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Waltrauds memory to a charity of ones choice.
