IAN F. ROCHE June 8, 1978 - January 29, 2003 Ian passed away in Winnipeg, at his residence, on January 29, 2003. Ian was born in Lethbridge, AB. He moved to Winnipeg with his parents, Dean and Karen (nee McCarthy). Ian then went to live at his grandparents for a few years and attended school in Riverton, MB. He joined his father in Calgary at the age of 13 until May of 2002 when Ian returned to Winnipeg to live on his own. Left to mourn his passing are his father Dean; step-mom Paulette; sisters, Aubrey and Jennie; his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Phyllis; aunts, Darlene (Pete), Debbie (Bruce), Wanda (Doug), Kathy (Darrell) and Karen; uncles, Raymond (Brenda), Dexter (Wendy) and Jonas (Tonya) and numerous cousins. Also, maternal aunts, uncles and cousins in Alberta and British Columbia. Ian was predeceased by his mother Karen in 1998 and his uncle Alvin Bonkowski in 1998. Ian will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour, his love of music, his uncanny ability to predict weather, and his own unique way of doing things. A private family memorial service will be held in Hnausa at a later date. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
