Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN MICHAEL SHADLOCK Suddenly on January 29, 2003 John Michael Shadlock of Winnipeg, and formerly of Teulon, passed away. Left to mourn his passing, his mother Anne; brother George (Olga) children, Cassie and Michael; Kim (Chantilly and Carson) Aunt Margaret Cassils; cousin Margaret (Tom) Scott; nephew Alistair; niece Elaine of Scotland; Aunt Mary Tatarlyn; cousins, Billy and Edward of Winnipeg. John was predeceased by his father Michael. John was born June 28, 1950 in Teulon. He taught at Teulon Collegiate, Teulon Elementary and Stonewall Collegiate for 28 years. He had a strong passion for his profession which helped him develop a strong, everlasting bond with many of his students. He enjoyed writing drama plays for the schools which always played to a packed house. John coached sports at the community level and for various school teams. He will be greatly missed by his many friends, especially his two amigos Al and Ken. A memorial service will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, Sunday, February 2 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Colin MacIver will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba or Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital.
