Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTOINETTE THERRIEN In loving memory Antoinette was born in Hearst, ON on January 4, 1938 to Nazaire and Emilienne Maheux (Huard). She spent her childhood years there. After marrying her husband Fernand, the young bride and her husband moved to Kenora, ON where they started their family. They raised their four sons in Kenora and in 1980 moved to Vermilion Bay, where she resided until her death. Antoinette took great pleasure in being with her grandchildren, family and friends. In her leisure time she enjoyed doing ceramics, bowling, bingo, and traveling with family and friends. Religion was a very important part of her life, and her faith brought God into every aspect of her life. She ensured that her family had a strong faith in God as well. She passed away at her home on January 25, 2003. Left to mourn her loss are her sons, Peter (Kerri) Therrien, Ivan (Marie) Therrien, Paul (Teri) Therrien, and Norman (Kerianne) Therrien; grandchildren, Johnathon, Denis, Samantha, Michael and Hailey; brothers and sisters, Annette Turner of Hearst, ON, Rita (Roger) Chartrand of White River, ON, Lucien Maheux of Hearst, ON, Irene (Rock) Lebel of North Bay, ON, Andre (Huguette) Maheux of Hearst, ON and numerous nieces and nephews. Antoinette was predeceased by husband Fernand Therrien; mother Emilienne (Huard) Maheux; father Nazaire Maheux; brother Raymond of Thunder Bay. ON; brother Fernand of Vancouver, BC and sister Yvette of Joques, ON. Antoinette will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for the late Antoinette Therrien will be held on Wednesday, January 29 in St. Josephs Church, Dryden. A Funeral mass to celebrate her life will be concelebrated by Rev. Father L. Filippini, and Rev. Father A. Campeau. Interment of ashes at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Machin Medical Clinic in care of the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
