VALENCE ROSS Peacefully, on Friday, January 31, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Valence Ross, of Lorette, passed away at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife Marie-Reine; children, Norman (Delores), Jocelyne (Eric) Walberg and Colette; grandchildren, Kerry (Jason), Rachelle, Rene, Mike, Samantha and Cassi; and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Logan. He is also survived by his sisters, Eva, Juliette and Estelle. Val was born in Ross, MB in 1927. He married Marie-Reine Manaigre in 1952. Val worked for many years as a pulp truck driver in Vermilion Bay, ON, eventually moving on to farming, which was his true passion. His work ethics were undisputed and he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone that needed it. Val was a very generous, compassionate and devoted husband, father and friend. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, February 4 at 8:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy No. 1 East at Navin Road. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the Paroisse Notre-Dame de Lorette. The service will conclude at the church.
