DORIS JUNE McKNIGHT 1919 - 2003 Peacefully on January 30 at the Concordia Hospital, June passed away at the age of 83. Mom will be sadly missed by her loving and caring husband Eric of 58 years; daughters, Margaret (Roy) Douglas and Sheila (John) Boyd of St. Albert, AB; grandchildren, Paul (Allyson) Rowe, Tracy (Jayson) Ambrose, Jennifer Boyd, Graeme Boyd; and five great-grandchildren. Also lovingly remembered by her brother Guy (Leonna) Devenny of Saskatoon, SK. June was predeceased by her parents, Guy and Lillian Devenny as well as her daughter Barbara in 1996. Mom was born in Weyburn, SK on June 24, 1919. After graduation she joined the RCAF serving four years in the Communications division. Mom met Dad in Winnipeg while both in the service and were married on D-day June 6, 1944. They enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. "Cry not when you think of me. For now my soul flies high and free, Encircled in the Lords arms I live again." At Junes request, cremation has taken place. A family interment will take place at a later date.
