IRENE SMITH (nee DEMUNCK) In loving memory of Irene Smith (nee Demunck) of Red Lake, who passed away suddenly at home on Friday, January 31, 2003 at the age of 69. Irene will be sadly missed by her loving children, Vern Jr. of Winnipeg and Darryl (Destiny) of Red Lake; her grandson Linden; her brother Marin of Toronto; and sister Margaret Cooper of Winnipeg. Irene was predeceased by her sisters, Rose and Bertha; brother Gerald and her husband Vernon. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Irene Smith will be held Wednesday, February 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion, Red Lake with Pastor Brian Falkenholt officiating. Interment of ashes will follow at a later date. If friends desire, donations to the Diabetes Association may be made through the Stevens Funeral Homes "Red Lake Chapel", P.O. Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
