GWENDOLINE FLOOK Peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2003, surrounded by family, at Deer Lodge Hospital, Gwendoline Flook, aged 76 years. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Ann Lancaster (Ron), Joan Cheyne (John), Ron Flook; grand-children, Scott, Alyssa, Andrea, Brittany, and Connie. Gwen was predeceased by her husband Norman in 1990. Gwen was born in Austin, MB, and met her husband there during the war. They married in England in 1946 and settled in Winnipeg, where they lived their whole lives. Her family was the most important thing in her life and she was a very loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Mom loved her many friends, and always looked forward to her Sunday dinners with family. Mom, thanks for always being there, and well miss you. The family thanks the nurses and staff of 2-West, Deer Lodge Hospital, for their special care in Moms last few weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. At her request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 12:30 p.m., at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
