JOHN (JACK) BEAUCHAMP With great sadness the family announces the passing of their husband, father and grandfather, Jack Beauchamp on Monday, February 3, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 44 years, Joan; daughters, Donna, Karen (Bob) Milani and Patti (Hub) Berube; six grandchildren, Matt Beauchamp, Ashleigh and Braden Milani and Jenna Stephanie and Evan Berube; brothers, Ken (Rhoda) of Leduc, AB, Cal (Helen) of Woodlands, MB; sister Shirley Krychuk of Argyle, MB; brother-in-law Reg (Aenone) Studler of Woodlands, MB, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his faithful companion "Spike." Jack was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Liz Beauchamp; in-laws, John and Rose Studler; brothers, Raymond and Herb and brother-in-law William "Doc" Krychuk. Dad was born on July 3, 1929 in Winnipeg and grew up in Woodlands, MB. He married Joan Studler on July 19, 1958 and settled in Winnipeg. Jack was in the vacuum repair business for 34 years, opening City Vacuum Service in 1960 and later became owner and operator of Osborne Vacuum from 1981, until his retirement in 1994. He was involved with the South Fort Rouge Business and Professional Association and the Golden Rule Seniors Monday Night Bingo. He enjoyed baseball and hockey in his younger years and later hunting, fishing and golf. He was a member of the Heather Game and Fish Association for many years. During his retirement he enjoyed travelling to Mesa, Arizona. His favourite pastime was cheering on his grandchildren at their many sporting events. The family wishes to thank the staff at 5A South at St. Boniface Hospital, and we thank all of our family, friends and co-workers for their concern, help and support. Special thanks to Bud Phillips for the Saturday afternoon coffee breaks at Robins and to Norm and Terry Mann for all their love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation in Dads memory. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
