RICHARD DAVID DONALD IRVINE On Sunday, February 2, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, Richard Irvine, aged 64 years, beloved husband of Peggy Irvine of Lac du Bonnet, MB. Besides his wife Peggy he leaves to cherish his memory, children, Rick Irvine, Karen Soper (Don), Julie Langois (Shawn), Tim Graham and Catherine Smajda, as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Mary. Richard loved working at the Dogskin Fishing Lodge in Northern Manitoba. Throughout his working years he was never afraid to try something new and worked at a variety of careers. The family would like to thank the nurses of the Palliative Care Ward of St. Boniface Hospital and to the nurses and doctors of the Pinawa Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Richards life will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m. from the Lac du Bonnet Legion, Lac du Bonnet, MB, with Rev. Peter Cain. If friends so desire memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Manitoba Division).
