CHARLES CAMERON McTAGGART Peacefully on Feb-ruary 3, 2003, Charles Cameron McTaggart, aged 73 years, dearly beloved husband of Nora McTaggart, passed away. Charles was born on October 11, 1929 in Winnipeg and attended school in Winnipeg. On May 26, 1951, he married Nora Helbern. In his younger years Charles enjoyed woodworking and curling. Charles enjoyed spending his summers at Grand Beach, working on his cottage with his wife. Charles worked for Eatons for 31 years. Charles, better known as Chuck, was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Ruth; and his brother Ronald. Besides his wife Nora McTaggart, he leaves to mourn daughter Laura and husband Richard, granddaughter Sarah; daughter Karen, husband Ronald, granddaughter Sydney; daughter Tracy, husband Jeff; son Patrick, wife Darlene; his brothers, Ted and Gerald; sisters-in-law, Joyce, Isabelle and Francis; many nieces and nephews; and several cherished friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to the Alzheimer Society, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. Sincere thanks to the Central Park Lodge staff on Edmonton Street. Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Reception will follow.
