MORLEY DECKER Suddenly on February 5, 2003, Morley passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife Vickie; daughter Donna (Jack) Borsa; son Robert (Marie) grandchildren, Warren, Leah, Greg and Mari. Morley was predeceased by his beloved son Bruce, four brothers and his twin sister Mabel. Morley spent many years in the hotel industry, and the Manitoba Travel and Tourism Association. In 1967, he became Executive Assistant to Maitland Steinkoff for the 1967 Canadian and 1970 Manitoba Centennial Celebrations. He then joined the Attorney Generals Department and was Director of Lotteries and Gaming Licensing Board until he retired. He then served a five year term as Secretary for the Board of Review. He loved golf and was a former member of the Saint Boniface and Assiniboine Golf Clubs. Morley had a wonderful tenor voice, played piano and organ, was a longtime member of the Sturgeon Creek United Church and choir and played organ at a number of nursing homes. Morley was well known for his cheerful personality and positive outlook on life. His friends and family will miss him deeply. He was a joy to be around. The family would like to thank Dr. Hamedani and the nursing staff at Grace Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or to the Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7. Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 10, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Dr. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
