FRANK PETERS Frank Peters passed away quietly on Tuesday, February 4, 2003. He was born September 24, 1943 in Winnipeg, the second child to Mary and Waldemar Peters. He is survived by son Keith, daughter-in-law Karen, and granddaughter Kalie, brother Rudi, sister Edith Kool and brother-in-law Pieter. In accordance with Franks wishes, his body was donated to the University of Manitoba Anatomy Department. Frank started his career as a teacher but due to health issues, had to find different employment. He settled down as the owner/manager of Keyboard Music. He was a chorus member of the Manitoba Opera Association for 15 years, a member of Elmhurst Country Club and a member of Brooklands Neighbourhood Improvement Committee where he received a City of Winnipeg Citizenship Award. He loved fishing, chess, reading, and many other solitary activities. Most of all he loved his family. He was a devoted and loving father. Recently, the sparkle in his eye and smile on his face were for his little princess Kalie. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 10 at First Mennonite Church on Notre Dame by Arlington Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
