FRANK K. DOERKSEN On Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at the Maplewood Manor in Steinbach, Frank K. Doerksen, beloved husband of Minnie, formerly of Cartwright, passed away at the age of 89 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by 10 children, Norma Doerksen, Frances Doerksen, Melinda Doerksen, Melvin (Margaret) Doerksen, all of Cartwright, Hannah Doerksen of Linden, AB, Amanda (Galen) Toews, Leslie (Denise) Doerksen, Allen (Rosena) Doerksen, Bruce (Gwen) Doerksen, all of Cartwright and Terri Miller of Linden, AB, 28 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister Anne Doerksen of Steinbach; a son-in-law Francis North of Tulsa, OK and many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a daughter Eva in 1984; two grandsons, Steven North in 1996 and Cory Doerksen in infancy. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite at Cartwright with interment at the Cartwright District Cemetery. Friends may pay their last respects at the church prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel of Steinbach.
