GRATIA (GRACE) MARIE THERESE PAISLEY (nee VERRIER) Grace passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2003, at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 53. Grace is survived and will be sadly missed by her son Cory, mother Solange, along with her brothers and sisters, Sister Anita Verrier, Doria (Louis) LeBrun, Marie (Brian) Mathieson, Claude (Sheila) Verrier, Guy (Sharon) Verrier, Leo (Lynn) Verrier, Pauline (Edmond) Kopp, Claire (Robert) Rivard, Murielle (Marcel) Cyr, Collette (Claude) Lussier and Mike (Elaine) Verrier; also her brother-in-law James (Elaine) Paisley; and mother-in-law Violet Paisley. Grace also leaves to mourn 28 nieces and nephews and far too many friends to mention. Grace will be warmly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her. Grace was predeceased by her husband Tom Paisley, her father Arthur Verrier and father-in-law Arthur Paisley. Grace enjoyed travelling, bird watching, gardening, baking her famous banana cakes and most precious to her was spending time with her family. Grace will be remembered for her courage, strength and motivation. She fought kidney disease for over 27 years giving inspiration and strength to those close to her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 12, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford St., with Fr. Joseph Johnson, S.J. officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Graces name to the Kidney Foundation, 200 - 55 Donald St. Winnipeg MB R3C 1L8.
