PRITAM KAUR SAHOTA After a long and full life Pritam Kaur Sahota passed away peacefully on February 4, 2003. Pritam Kaur was born on August 20, 1920 in Bassi, India. She spent the last 24 years of her life in Chandigarh, India. She is predeceased by her husband Harcharan Singh. She is survived by her son Dr. Surjit Singh (Avtar Kaur) Sahota of Winnipeg and daughter Gurmeet Kaur (Dr. Nirmal Singh) Bilkhu of Regina; five loving grandchildren, Rasmeet (Jagdeep), Rani (Iqbal) and Manreet; Sundeep (Kulwinder), Jagdev and her great-grandson Rajandeep. She will also be deeply missed by her brothers, Kartar Singh of England and Avtar Singh of India and sister Ajit Kaur, also in India. The family wishes to express gratitude to Dr. Bharat Shah for all the care he gave to her above and beyond the call of his professional duties. Similar thanks are also extended to the staff at Riverview Health Centre. We are also very thankful to all the friends and relatives who comforted us during this difficult time. Services will be on Saturday, February 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapels, 1501 Waverley. Memorial will be as per Sikh rites. Kirtan Path and Prayers will follow at Desmesh Darbar Gurdwara, 566 Archibald St. Garry Memorial Funeral Home 925-1120
