NELLIE ANETTE VERNACKT Peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at the age of 83 years, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the Palliative Care Unit of St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Maurice in 1996. She is survived by her loving children, Larry Stove and wife Lynda of Saskatoon and Richard Stove and wife Valerie of Toronto; her two grandchildren, Kathryn (Rob) Richard of Prince George, BC and Jeff (Yvonne) Stove of Saskatoon; and great-grandchildren, Brendan, Carter and Justin Richard and Caitlin and Jaclyn Stove. Mom will always be remembered for her warm, generous and independent spirit and for providing opportunities for her two children and encouragement for her grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
