BRENTON JOHN BEARDY January 6, 1994 - February 6, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson and great-grandson, Brenton John Beardy of Ashern, MB, formerly of Lake St. Martin First Nation on Thursday, February 6, 2003 at the age of 9 years. Brenton is survived by his parents, Victor and Angela T. Beardy; his sisters, Pauline (Marvin) and Rachel; his brother Sonny; special grandparents, Peter and Betty Anderson; great-grandmother Isabella C. Anderson; uncles, George (Lydia) Beardy, Thomas (Rosie) Beardy, Dennis Beardy, all of Lake St. Martin and Leonard (Brenda) of Fairford; special aunts, Dora (Ron) and Karen (Andy) of Fairford; also his cousins, and many other relatives and friends. Brenton was predeceased by his aunts, Kathleen Ryle on November 13, 1994 and Martha F. Marsden on February 23, 2002; his uncles, Samuel Beardy on October 23, 1999 and Craig Anderson on August 5, 2000; his grandparents, Charlie Beardy in 1981 and Harriet M. Beardy in 1984; great-grandfather Charlie John Anderson in 1989; a sibling in infancy; his cousin Mervin Ryle on October 19, 1991 and also Bright Blue Sky Monkman-Anderson on February 19, 2002. Brenton was very special to everyone who knew him. He was very polite and would often express his love and say "I lub you" to those around him. Brenton was very gifted and skilled in computers, while attending school in Ashern, MB. He was very special and was always cheerful. He brought joy daily to anyone and everyone who would drop by to visit. Brenton loved gospel music and attending church. During church one evening, Brenton raised his hands in the air and said "Jesus is coming soon" and he requested the song on page 178, "Where He leads, Ill follow". Brenton will be sadly missed by his parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, family members and all who knew him. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the PICU unit of the Childrens Hospital in Winnipeg, also Miss T. for assisting in special programs with Brenton at the Early Years School in Ashern and the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Ashern. A wake service will be held on Sunday, February 9 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Lake St. Martin Faith Chapel with Jim Anderson and Daniel Anderson officiating.
