WINONA GRACE (nee LIVINGSTONE) OKEEFE Passed away in Lethbridge, AB on January 27, 2003. She was born in Winnipeg, MB on July 9, 1928 and attended Phoenix School in Headingley and Wesley College (University of Winnipeg) in Winnipeg. Winona was predeceased by her husband Dr. John OKeefe; parents, Martin and Jessie Livingstone; brothers, Roy, Harold; and sister Vera Bound. She is survived by her sisters, Ruby Curtis, Elva Gallagher (Edm) and Phyllis Zlotnick as well as many nieces and nephews. Prior to her marriage, Winona worked at Parkhill Bedding and the Winnipeg Free Press in the accounting department. She has lived in Flin Flon, Winnipeg, Nelson, BC, Osoyoos, BC, Calgary, Medicine Hat and settled in Lethbridge. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery and a reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Headingley United Church, 110 Bridge Rd., Headingley, MB R4H 1G3.
