SISTER CHARLES-MADELEINE FILLE DE LA CROIX (ROSELINE DE MOISSAC) On February 7, 2003, Sister Charles-Madeleine very peacefully passed on to Eternity at the Health Sciences Centre. She was born 74 years ago in St. Claude, MB. Both her father, Charles and her mother Madeleine Magnard of Bressuire and Annonay, France, respectively, have predeceased her; as have her brothers, Charles and Georges; and her sisters, Christiane, Huguette and Sister Blandine, o.s.u. She is very lovingly remembered by her religious community, her four sisters, Marie-Therese, Sister Ghislaine f.d.l.c., Sister Madeleine f.d.l.c. and Anne-Marie; her sister-in-law Laurette; and eight nieces and nephews and their respective families. She will also live on forever in the hearts of countless little ones to whom she was the most precious, gentle and loving of teachers. She spent 26 years opening up their minds and hearts, gently but firmly guiding their steps to the future. Now, many remember her as, "My first teacher, the best.". Sister spent the last years of her life as a care giver for members of her family. We shall all miss her very unique personality. She was extremely kind, warm, gentle and gracious at all times and with everyone. The Filles de la Croix and her family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre for the devoted care Sister received during her stay at the hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at the Provincial House of the Filles de la Croix, 66 Moore Ave., Winnipeg on Monday, February 10, at 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated the following day, Tuesday, February 11, also at the Provincial House at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place in the St. Adolphe Parish Cemetery following the mass. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
