DONALD EARL "BUSTER" FLETCHER Peacefully at the Dr. Evelyn Memorial Hospital at Stonewall, MB, on February 8, 2003. Born November 20, 1913, the youngest son of Sam and Jessie Fletcher of Argyle, MB. He received his education at Brant Consolidated School and farmed at Argyle until his retirement. He moved to Stonewall in the early 1970s. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, William, Dougal, and Duncan; sisters, Laura and Mabel. He is survived by nephew Brian (Helene) Fletcher of Calgary; nieces, Pat (Ed) Guest of Winnipeg, Sheila (Matt) Dedrick of Winnipeg, Marilynn Fletcher of Toronto, and Lesley Fletcher of Selkirk; as well as great nieces and nephews. Buster enjoyed the company of others. He delighted in telling jokes and stories. He loved music of all types. Lawn bowling and travel were his passion. He was active in the Seniors Resource Council. He was a devoted brother and a kind, understanding Uncle. He will be missed. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. at MacKenzies Funeral Home, Stonewall, MB. Private interment to follow in the family plot at Argyle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in Busters memory, to a charity of your choice.
