She leaves to mourn, her husband and best friend Archie; her eight children, Gerry (Lorna), Larry, Lori, Ray (Lynn), Stephen (Tracey), Kimberly (Lorne), Kevin, and Scott (Jade) grandchildren, Cory, Christine, Austin, Jarod, Neil, Victor, Teaghan, Ryleah, Diana, Toni, Gage, Brian, and David; sisters, Joyce (George) and Bonnie (Gary) nieces, nephews and family across Canada and England. Edna was born in Winnipeg on June 28, 1940 to Louise and James Gould, who predeceased her, as well as her mother-in-law Mollie and brother-in-law Ken McDonald. Mom lived her childhood summers on the beaches of Grand Marais, later introducing her children and grandchildren to the enjoyment she experienced. Mom loved to knit for everyone. We all have afghans and dishcloths to prove it. Moms greatest enjoyment was her children and grandchildren. She was blessed to have many special friends, among them included Denise, Sheila, Laura, Gary, and Ethel. Mom always had the coffee on and her doors open to welcome family and friends. Vigil prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Wednesday, February 12 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. on Thursday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sheila Darragh, Shaughnessy Dagdick, Cory Campbell, Denise Shistowski, Chris Shistowski, Ron Polten, and Lorne Bailey. Special thank you to the I.C.U. nurses, Trudy and Tanya, as well as Dr. Kramer at the Grace Hospital for all their compassion and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ednas memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
