Rose was a member of several choirs, most recently, the Winnipeg Seniors Choir. She was also active in the community as a volunteer, including at the Museum of Man and Nature and as a Block Parent. Rose will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her spirit of adventure, her kindness to others, and for being a mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre (CD3). "When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared Miss me, but let me go. For this is a Journey we all must take And each must go alone, Its all part of the Masters Plan A step on the road to home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds Miss me but let me go. Service will be held at the Riverview Health Centre Chapel on February 13 at 3:30 p.m., 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
