Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONIA, ANTHONINA PAWLOWSKI (nee HORBATY) Born April 8, 1922 Passed away February 8, 2003 Peacefully surrounded and comforted by her family, Mom passed away in her 81st year after a valiant battle with cancer. Predeceased by her beloved and devoted husband Stanley; daughter Christine; mother Catherine and father Fred; as well as brothers, Mike, Steve, Andrew, Peter, Nick, John; and sister Rosie. Antonia is survived by sisters, Katy, Annie, Polly (Toronto), Mary (Ontario) and brother George. Together with Stanley, they raised five daughters, Shirley (Bob), Christine, Marguerite (Bernie), Catherine (Bob), and Gwen (Murray). Her grandchildren, Natasha, Anthony, Michelle (Gerardo), Kirk (Kim), Arlene, Colleen, Nadine; stepgrandchildren, Roger and Sheri; and great-grandchild Jessica, were always in her prayers. Mom retired from McGavins Toastmaster where she was an active union member for many years. Her greatest accomplishment was achieving "equal pay for equal work" for women in the bakery. Prayers will be Thursday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, February 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave., with Rev.
