ROBERT SYDNEY BUCKNER Suddenly, following a lengthy illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the death on February 11, 2003 of Robert Sydney Buckner, aged 59 at his residence. Bob will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered to cherish his memory and mourn his passing his wife Cathie; stepchildren, Lorraine, Brian, Gordon Sigsworth; sister-in-law Liz and her son Jason Barr; his brother John; and his sister Judith; nieces and nephews, Lorna, Kevin, Sean, cousin Sylvia; and his beloved pet Reba-Dakota. He was predeceased by his father John James in 1983 and his mother Agnes Margaret in 2001. Robert enjoyed fishing and hunting and good times spent with his friends and family. A celebration of Bobs life will take place on Monday, February 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with Rev. Dr. Patrick A. Morand officiating. Interment will take place at Waverley Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their appreciation and heart felt thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre and the Victoria Hospital, his co-workers at Metal Tech Industries, and his sister-in-law Liz.
