ALBERTA NOVELLA MALOWSKI (nee NORTHAM) March 5, 1911 - February 13, 2003 After a long illness Alberta (Berta) passed away peacefully three weeks short of her 92nd birthday. She is predeceased by her parents and brothers. She is survived by her husband John and numerous nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Rapid City. She took nurses training at Brandon Mental Hospital. During the Second World War she served in Africa. She returned to Canada and met her husband in Toronto. They moved back to Winnipeg where they lived since. Berta nursed at Municipal Hospital and Misericordia just until her retirement. Berta and John spent 56 years together. At Bertas request there will be no services and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations can be made, in Albertas name, to a charity of your choice. P. COUTU & CO.
