SHIRLEY ELAINE WILLIAMS It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Shirley Grigg (nee Williams) of Bakersfield, California on February 12, 2003. Shirley was born September 9, 1924 in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Helen Williams. She is survived by her beloved husband Howard Grigg; sons, Randy Grigg (Angene) and Russell Grigg (Carol) and grandchildren, Michael, Heather, Jennifer, John and Jason, all of Bakersfield. She is also survived by her cousin Mrs. Noreen Henderson (David), goddaughter Gail Lapp and the extended Winnipeg family. Shirley worked for some years at Oldfield, Kirby and Gardner in Winnipeg. She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, both in Winnipeg and Bakersfield. Shirley was loved by all who knew her. A sweeter, kinder person you could never meet. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirleys memory to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.
